A specialist class by audition or invitation for the serious classical ballet student wishing for a career in dance. Students work to further their technique and artistry. Classical ballet variations are studied as well as pointe work and pas de deux.
The class is by audition and invitation only. It is designed for students that show dedication and promise in classical ballet to enhance their skills and technique. Students may be offered auditions for placements with the Royal Ballet Junior Associate programme or the British Ballet Scholarship programme.
Following the Royal Academy of Dance Major syllabus for the serious classical ballet student. Pointe work, Pas de Deux and classical variations are studied.
This class is the development from Intermediate Foundation. Pas de Deux and classical variations are studied. Students study the disciplines and syllabi of the RAD and the BBO.
Intermediate Foundation is suitable for students aged 10+. This class forms the link between the graded syllabus and the major syllabus work and is designed for those who wish to develop a career in dance or teaching.
The last of the Graded syllabus examinations in Classical Ballet designed to develop solo performance in three styles of dance, Classical, Character and Free Movement.

Free movement incorporates Contemporary, Classical Greek dance and Natural movement. Character incorporates dances from Russia, Hungary, and Poland, the three main styles used in Classical Ballets of the 19th century.
